Sperrin Foodbank
Towards to end of 2022, after seeing the growing impact of the cost-of-living crisis, we worked with St Vincent de Paul, who have supported families in the local community with food for many years, to develop a local food bank. We launched Sperrin Food Bank in January 2023 to provide an emergency food service to local people in need in Draperstown and surrounding areas. In its first year we received 203 calls for assistance, helped 54 individual households and over 160 individuals.
If you would like to donate items to the foodbank donation points are located in local schools and shops or can be dropped in to Workspace.
