Workspace Capital Grant Fund
The Workspace Capital Grant Fund was launched in 2024 to provide capital grants to voluntary and community groups operating within the Ballinascreen, Desertmartin and Kilcronaghan areas to help them provide or improve facilities for the benefit of the community within those parishes.
Grants from £5,000 to £25,000 for capital projects, will be made available in an open call, at the discretion of the Workspace Board of Directors. The amount of grant funding available in any given call will be determined by the Directors, having considered the Groups financial position, surpluses generated and future plans and commitments.
The amount of grant funding awarded will not normally be more than 50% of the total project cost. Therefore, grant applicants will be required to demonstrate that they have/are able to raise at least 50% of the funds needed for the project from other sources.
Requests for grant aid for revenue expenditure or small items of equipment will not be considered under this scheme and should be made through the Workspace Community Fund.
Groups/organisations can only receive one grant within a three year period and projects that are in conflict or in competition with the facilities that Workspace already provide will not normally be considered.
